Use a Ruijie EST350 as a Point to Multipoint

  • Used 2 pair of bridge - 1 Recorder End and 2 Camera End.
  • Added the serial numbers manually at the Ruijie Cloud.
  • Each bridge is only connected to PoE.
  • For PtmP, only 1 AP and the rest is CPE
  • Login to each device one at a time on the LAN port of PoE using VLAN 50. Set the PC IP on the 10.44.77.X range then on the browser, connect to 10.44.77.254.
  • On each bridge, Change the Country Settings to Australia.
  • Everything is disconnected to internet at first.
  • After setting the main AP Country Code, connect the LAN port of the PoE Injector to internet access.
  • Also set correct timezone
  • It is observed after changing the correct Country settings on the bridge, each Camera (CPE) device should be able to see the Recorder End (AP) SSID.
  • On the AP device, the WDS and Admin passwords are set the same using the management password.
  • On the CPE devices, the WDS and Admin passwords are set the same using the management password.
  • On the CPE device, we change the settings to join the SSID of the AP, it will only show if all of them have the same Country Settings.
  • For CPE devices from another bridge pair, it need to join the AP SSID.
