Simple Ruijie Captive Portal - Using e-mail Account login

-This is to enable captive portal on your Ruijie gateway device. This will ask the user to register with their email account and provide details for Marketing and Promotions.

-This will only use email address to login without a password. Current issue is the email can't be deleted or changed and you can't stop a user to use an email but you can block devices using MAC address related to the email if needed. This looks like a new feature and still improving but there are useful features currently available. Another option is to create vouchers to be given to users to be able to access the network.




To create a Captive Portal with email account login, please edit the Captive Portal or create a new one with the settings below




Click the 3 dots then edit



Please tick "Registration" for the login option





Click OK, then OK to save all the changes



For the users, they will need to login to the SSID linked to the Captive Portal.



Below is the main page of the Captive Portal For new users, they will need to register an account using email below and tick the box. If they are returning users, click "Have an account? Login"




For returning users, type the email address used to register, tick the boxes and click login



To check the users for the Captive Portal, go to Clients > Auth Clients
