To enable VLAN SSID on your Ruijie devices, we will need to configure the main Router/Gateway device. Depending on how you design the network, this is usually the device that is closest to the ISP provider on your network and provides the management of IP address, etc.
We will need to eWeb to the device to access the local settings. We will select the local device and go to Network > LAN > LAN Settings > +Add
Set the IP address and VLAN ID and click OK.
After the VLAN configuration, we will go to the Ruijie portal to configure the SSID and link it to VLAN. Go to Devices > SSID
Click Add SSID
Configure the settings:
SSID - This is the Wi-Fi Name
Encryption Method - We would suggest to use WPA/WPA2-PSK
Password - set a good password
Wireless Mode - Choose "Compatibility Mode", this is to support older devices
VLAN - Choose "Other VLAN" and set the VLAN ID
Click OK
