TP-Link Pharos Point-to-Point setup

TP-Link Pharos:

*Configure on VLAN 50 (No DHCP)

-The default IP Address of CPE is 192.168.0.254

-login is admin/admin

-Login and update login details

@System:

-Change device name i.e. Pair-1-1

-Update Time zone - click sync with PC clock

-Apply and save

@Network

-change to DHCP

-Set and enable Fallback IP (Best to set this same as local subnet)

-Set DNS

-Apply and save (Need to reconnect ethernet cable and search new IP with internet connection)

-Check firmware, no automatic download

@Wireless (AP and Client/Station)

For AP:

-change SSID and password

-Apply and save

For Client/Station:

*Before setting the wireless P2P for Client, disable/disconnect the AP from the network to prevent network loop

-change SSID and password - same from AP

-Apply and save

*disable/disconnect the Client/Station from the network to prevent network loop, leave PoE connected

Login to AP and check Station:
